Founder and Clinical Director
Rachael Pogue
Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
Welcome! My name is Rachael (she/her), and I am honoured to support you on your journey of healing and self-discovery. With a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, I bring a diverse academic background to my practice.
Having lived with chronic pain and illness myself, I understand the complexities and challenges that come with these experiences. This personal journey has deepened my compassion and fuelled my passion for supporting others who face similar struggles. I specialize in working with individuals living with chronic pain and illness, as well as those dealing with anxiety and relational issues.
I believe that healing is a deeply personal journey, and I practice from a humanistic, empathetic, and eclectic approach. I draw from mindfulness, narrative therapy, emotionally focused, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed perspectives to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
It takes immense courage and strength to reach out for help, and I feel privileged to stand alongside you as we navigate your path to growth and resilience. Together, we can uncover the tools and insights you need to embrace a more fulfilling life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, traveling, meditating, yoga, being outside in nature and walking my dog!
Abeera Rahil
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hi, I’m Abeera (she/her), I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over three years of experience in the mental health field, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, relational challenges, identity exploration, life transitions, health & lifestyle, career guidance, and faith/ spirituality among several other things. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville, along with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and double minors in Philosophy and Biology from UofT. This interdisciplinary background has shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to integrate scientific understanding, thoughtful reflection, and a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I draw from evidence-based modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and a trauma-informed lens; tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical tools they can apply in their everyday lives, all while honouring their growth and personal development.
I believe therapy is a management tool that can foster resilience, self-love, and self-understanding at a pace that feels sustainable. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and more confident as they move forward in their personal journeys.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy staying active in the gym, exploring new cafés and restaurants, going on long drives, and scrolling on Tiktok for fun!
Abbie Delaney
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hi, I’m Abbie (She/Her), I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I offer support for individuals as they navigate life’s most tender transitions. Whether you are adjusting to parenthood/postpartum, facing a career shift, or grieving the loss of someone or a life you had imagined for yourself, I offer a compassionate space where your experience can unfold at your own pace.
Life transitions can stir up complex emotions: hope and doubt, excitement and fear, love and grief. Even positive changes can feel disorienting. My work centers on helping you make sense of these layered experiences, reconnect with your inner resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.This might involve processing identity shifts, relationship changes, working through anxiety, accessing vulnerability or becoming curious about complex emotions you are experiencing.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, with this academic background driving me to combine evidence-based approaches and an eclectic framework to tailor therapy to a client’s unique needs. I integrate mindfulness-based practices, narrative therapy, and schema-informed experiential techniques to gently explore the patterns and stories shaping your present. I believe therapy should be collaborative, where you are the expert on your life and my role is to walk alongside you, offering insight, structure, and support as you navigate change.
Transitions can feel like standing at the edge of the unknown. You do not have to navigate them alone and I am grateful for the opportunity to join you in it.
Outside of work, I enjoy finding new hiking trails, traveling to the east coast of Canada, spending time with friends, reading, baking, and trying out many new activities!
Nicole Boon
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hi, I’m Nicole (she/her), and I feel privileged to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and discover your own strength and resilience. My clinical approach is grounded in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory, guided by trauma-sensitive and client-centered principles. I see therapy as a collaborative process where emotional awareness and understanding foster meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore difficult feelings and patterns to build self-compassion, resilience, and authentic connection.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and bring nearly ten years of teaching experience, which has deepened my respect for those facing stress, burnout, and life transitions. I work with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-worth, and major life changes. I also enjoy supporting couples in recognizing and shifting patterns that keep them feeling stuck, helping them build healthier connections. I tailor evidence-based approaches to your unique pace and needs, offering a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to reconnect with your authentic self, I’m here to support your growth and healing.
Outside of work, I enjoy pottery, reading, cooking, and hiking with my dog, activities that help me stay grounded and inspired.
